We are looking for a 

Senior Manager, Sourcing

come and join our highly valued Procurement and Gastronomy team and be part of Compass Group Finland family.

As a Senior Sourcing Manager you will be planning and executing yearly category-specific plans including tendering and contracting and handle day-to-day problem solving in your own categories, including Dairy, Cheese, Eggs and Fats according to Compass Group Procurement guidelines. You lead and manage strategic category work, tendering and contracting and overall supplier relationships.

You will be in charge of spend management and availability in your categories as well as ensure that Compass Group business requirements are met. You do close teamwork with our Procurement team and with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

You report to Sourcing Manager, Procurement Team Lead, Leena Pajari.

You will work in our headquarters in Helsinki, Mannerheimintie with naturally good possibilities for remote-work.

What you´ll bring to our team?

Your educational background could be M.Sc or B.Sc in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or from other relevant field.

You should have few years of experience in procurement of food categories and experience for example as a buyer or category manager or specialist. The willingness to learn more of supplier market, stakeholder needs, legislation, contracting and procurement policies will help you be successful in this work.

You are known for your strategic and analytical approach to work and you have good teamwork skills. You need to be a good communicator and you interact effectively at all levels and across all functions, both within Compass and externally. Excellent English and fluent Finnish written and verbal skills and good IT-skills are necessary in this work.
